What's For Dinner Easiest Mac and Cheese Ever

Recently I spotted at one of my favorite blogs http://grocerycartchallenge.blogspot.com/2010/10/easiest-mac-and-cheese-ever.html a recipe for an Easy Mac and Cheese recipe.

I have to admit I have never made Mac and Cheese and I am not a fan of the box stuff. So to say the least I very rarely have it.
Well I do love Mac and Cheese.. my late ex mother in law use to make it for us over 40 years ago and of course anything she made I loved.
So tonight I gave the recipe a try and I LOVED IT .. grandson did not but he is the fussiest one. The cottage cheese does give it a different texture.
I have made a copy of the recipe from her site and here it is
World's Easiest Macaroni and Cheese!
1 (16 ounce) container cottage cheese
16 ounces of uncooked elbow macaroni
16 ounces water
16 ounces shredded cheddar cheese Put Cottage Cheese in 9 x 13 cake pan. Add Macaroni. Add Water. Add shredded cheese. Stir together. Place in preheated 350 degree oven. Take out after 30 minutes and stir. Test macaroni for doneness. If it needs more time try for 10 more minutes. Don't overbake or it will dry out.
Now I did not have a 9 by 13 cake pan so used a casserole and that worked out just fine.

This was a great recipe and we will make it again. Would be good with a Hebrew National Hot Dog I think.

Thanks for stopping by.. Lets keep saving together.. Grace
